This lap size quilt was taught in a class that I took at the 2009 Honeybee's Retreat with my friend Barbara. Barbara invited me to join her on a quilting retreat two years ago along with another friend "Peggy." We had sssooo much, that I was ready for the next retreat. I met so many ladies there that I don't even remember their names; but what I do remember about them is now friendly, caring, and giving these women were. They didn't mind sharing their skills and techiques. The attitude that these quilters had is something that I will always remember and for that I would like to say to my friend Barbara,"thank you for inviting me to join you on a retreat two years ago." I look forward each year for Barbara's phone call or email asking,"Laurie, what class(es) are you taking this year?" See you at the Retreat!!!
